The table tennis zone day is always hotly anticipated by both students and teachers. Hundreds of students from the North Shore of Auckland met at the North Harbour Table Tennis Centre to take on the challenge of the small ball. With six eager Northcross competitors ready to battle, the competition was always going to be tough. The gentle ping and pong throughout the day masked the deafening tension that grew through the rounds as one by one victors were congratulated and losers commiserated. After a quick lunch to reenergize tired muscles, the play offs and final rounds began. Northcross represented well in the semi finals but were ultimately beaten in the singles and doubles. All students were exemplary ambassadors for Northcross. Logan Room 12, Max Room 32, William Room 49, Edison Room 54, Samantha Room 54, and Shawn Room 60. Well done team!
