At the end of last term Northcross held the first local Community of Learning Orchestra Day. We brought together musicians from 5 different schools across our community; Northcross Intermediate, Oteha Valley Primary, Sherwood Primary, Long Bay Primary and Torbay Primary. We had a large variety of musicians with a range of experience levels. It was a great opportunity for our Northcross students to take a mentoring role and lead the rehearsal sessions. It was also a valuable opportunity for our accompanying teachers to connect with each other.
