Stuffy Entertains Audiences on Road Trip

The Stuffy crew returned from their South Auckland/ Hamilton roadtrip feeling very tired but highly satisfied with the experience of sharing fantastic teamwork and wonderful passion and commitment to the performing arts. We entertained audiences at Manurewa intermediate, Greenmeadows, Fairfield Intermediate and most of the school at Te Totara . The following reflection is written by an audience member from Te Totara

We were delighted to be in the audience – and to meet you briefly beforehand -on Wednesday last at Te Totara School, for the Northcross Drama performance. We were impressed by a number of things – namely, the well-rehearsed cast, the high level of involvement by all students, the projection of many voices in unison and most single voices, and your use of space, focus and action.  To have  an audience of over 750 students plus a number of adults fully engaged for nearly an hour, is a reason for “Congratulations” in itself! Finally, as an arts teacher of many years myself, I am thrilled to see that an Intermediate School is not only strong in the Arts but is willing to share the talents of its students with others.
