Our Northcross String musicians recently took part in a string musicians exchange between our school and Long Bay College.
The string instruments included were violin, viola, cello and double bass. This exchange was organised though our Oneroa Kāhui Ako and the Northcross and Long Bay College music teachers, with the goal of supporting developing musicians and building connections within our local community.
The students had a fantastic master class day with Shauno Isomura, our violin teacher and the Long Bay students.
Some of the students have only been learning since the start of this year but we managed to get them to perform at the end of the day.
