Over the past two terms, NX students have had the opportunity to showcase their composition and storytelling skills in the national student photography competition. The judges were overwhelmed with the number of entries (over 1250 nationwide!), and the standard across the board was incredibly high. In total, 78 awards were awarded so the rangatahi who have won awards should feel incredibly proud of their achievement! They’re the best of a very good bunch! NX students who received awards were: Amy Malcolm – 3rd place in Day In The Life Category; Zara Latimer – Exceptional Eye Award in Junior Section; Axel Mackie – National Finalist in Crazy Creative Category; Chloe Kavanagh – National Finalist in Crazy Creative Category; and Max Probert – Southam – National Finalist in Crazy Creative Category. Claiming 5 awards, Northcross won more awards in Stills than any school in the junior section.
