On September 9th our Northcross music team had a big day at the Auckland Choral Federations Kids Sing Festival led by our two incredible choir directors Gnesyer Gomez and Annabel Yu.
Under their coordination there is a fantastic energy and love of singing within our choir members. Their passion for music, singing and energy is infectious!
It was an extremely long day starting at 8am and finishing at 9.30pm and involved two trips to Auckland Town Hall, a grading exam in the morning and an evening Gala Performance with choirs from all over Auckland.
It is an incredibly tough competition but we managed to achieve a Bronze grading. Hhe biggest reward was seeing how much confidence, enjoyment and pride the students got from performing is definitely the biggest win!
