Northcross Intermediate was proudly represented by three teams at the recent North Harbour Zone Day competition: Year 8 Team 1, Year 7 Team 1, and Year 7 Team 2, with the second Year 7 team receiving an invitation to compete.
All three teams displayed outstanding skill, commitment, and teamwork throughout a busy day of competition. Both Year 7 teams played some excellent netball during the pool rounds, narrowly missing out in a couple of key games. Fittingly, they met each other in the playoff round for their final match, where both teams showed fantastic sportsmanship and represented Northcross with pride.
The Year 8 team had an exceptional tournament, winning all five of their pool games before defeating Pinehurst in the semi-final. They then faced KingsWay in the final, securing another impressive victory to be crowned North Harbour Champions with an unbeaten record.
