On Tuesday 16 May 90 students from our school were able to attend the Auckland Writers Festival at the Aotea Centre. We heard addresses from some amazing authors, including Jason Reynolds, Johanna Emeney and Mary-anne Scott. Additionally, some of our students were able to attend workshops with experts, including well known authors, Graci Kim (pictured with NX students above) and James Norcliffe. It was a day of incredible inspiration and a springboard for our own budding authors.
