This year we were thrilled to have two of our students awarded as winners in this annual competition.
Daniel Tennant Room 45 (Under 11 category)
Ethan Butler Room 8 (12-17 category)
The 2021 theme was ‘Children of War’ and the judges spoke very highly of the way the boys were able to capture this theme so poignantly in their poems. Daniel and Ethan both had the honour of reading their winning poems in the Hall of Memories at Auckland Museum in a special ceremony on ANZAC day.
