The Chess Power Cluster Day at Northcross took place 18th May. Whilst a relatively small tournament this time, our students played seven rounds each and had a few close finishes. Individually our Northcross Students took out the top three placings with William Liu 1st, Vincent Xu 2nd and Ryan Hwang 3rd. In the overall results for the teams, Northcross came 1st and 2nd which qualified a team for the next event. Congratulations also to all of the Northcross Representatives: Edison Jiang, Corey Zhang, Luis Shyn, Gordon Peng, Ivan Yin, Logan Pillay, Kay Zhang and Alex Xiao.
