3 on 3 Touch finally got underway for 2023 after a somewhat disrupted start to the year because of Auckland’s dodgy weather! However, that did not dampen the spirits of the kids where 32 teams turned up each week to have some fun with their mates and learn some new skills at the same time. A big thank you to Room 53 students for giving up their Friday’s each week after school to set up, referee, score, time and pack up. While we did not get the amount of games in we normally like to, 3 on 3 touch still provided that valuable social interaction, fitness, skills and fun that we all love. Congratulations to the following teams who won their respective finals: Boys Y8 Final Winner-Brians Beckies, Girls Y8 Final Winner-Fast and Furious 5, Y7 Boys Final Winner-Chicken Joe and Girls Y7 Final Winner-Panthers.
