In Term 4, Northcross recently held its annual ‘NX Talent Show’ where students have the opportunity to audition showcasing their individual talent in the hopes of making it through to the Top 10 who perform in the show for the school.
Arts Academy teacher Miss Smith held 3 weeks of auditions where numerous students auditioned with solo and group singing, solo and group dancing, individual magic trick acts, band performances, artwork displays and comedy routines.
This year, the talent was so good – there were 13 performances in the final ‘NX Talent Show.’ The Room 10 Arts Academy students hosted the show and there were 4 teachers selected to judge the amazing contestants.
In the end after some deliberation – it was announced that our 2022 Northcross Talent Show winners were;
1st Place: Malika Townshend & Betty Shen (Singing and Piano duo) Picture above.
2nd Place (equal): Carly Cameron (Singing & guitar)
Abigail Bothma, Kieran Fish, Lexi Cooke, Chloe Huang, Venus Liu, Naomi Wanghan, Karry Gong (Group Dancers)
3rd Place: Ashley Hyde & Hannah Hyde (Singing and Guitar duo)
