Our Rock Band program did exceptionally well this year in the Rockshop Bandquest Competition. We entered the online category and achieved a first place for one of our year 8 bands, Gemini-go-scorpotarious. The bass player James O’Sullivan won the rock solid bassist award.
Our year 7 band The Rock Down Kings also achieved two awards; the best rock styles award for their stage presence and the musicianship award went to piano and saxophone player Cameron Beattie.
