At the recent North Harbour Boys Zone Day, our NX Trailblazers came up against some very physical and athletic opposition. The boys won all their pool games, working well as a team and putting together the moves practiced in training to gain success. NX managed to beat a competitive Northcote team 32-14 in the semi-finals before meeting Belmont in the final. The boys fought back brilliantly to secure a 23-19 victory and claim the North Harbour title. Thus, earning the right to represent North Harbour at the Auckland Championships in Papakura last week.. Facing tough opponents throughout the tournament, the boys advanced all the way to the final against the 2026 AIMS champions, Clendon. They finished in a very respectable second place. A huge thanks to Jacob Jones-Harvey for coaching these talented players, and well done to the boys on a fabulous campaign!
