Successful Netball Season for NX

This year has been another outstanding one for our after school netball programme, with an incredible 25 teams made up of Year 7 and 8 students. The enthusiasm and dedication shown by all our players, coaches, and supporters has been inspiring, and it has been wonderful to see so many students involved and representing our school with pride.
The season was filled with exciting games, strong teamwork, and plenty of determination on court. One of the major highlights came from Year 7 Team 1 (photo above), who showed consistency and skill throughout the season to reach the Grade 1 final. The final was a tough battle against Kingsway, but with determination and teamwork they came through with a 28–21 win, earning the title of Grade 1 champions. This was an incredible achievement for the team and a proud moment for the school.

We also saw excellent results from our other teams, including Year 7 Team 2, who played their hearts out all season and finished as runners-up in Grade 2. Their growth and teamwork throughout the year were clear to see. In addition, Year 8 Team 12 achieved a well-deserved 2nd place in Grade 13, showing resilience and commitment right to the end of the competition.

Across all grades, our players showed perseverance, improvement, and sportsmanship, which is just as important as the results. It has been fantastic to see friendships strengthened, confidence built, and skills developed both on and off the court. A huge thank you must go to all our coaches, managers, and parents who gave their time and support to make this season possible.
We are incredibly proud of the efforts of all our netballers this year and can confidently say it has been a very successful season. With this strong foundation, we are already looking forward to seeing what our students will achieve in the 2026 season!
