Last week, our top Year 7 and Year 8 girls’ netball teams proudly represented our school at the North Harbour Zone Day. With perfect weather and top-tier competition, both teams delivered outstanding performances throughout the day.
The Year 7 team also had a fantastic day, suffering just one loss in the pool stage. That same opponent awaited them in the final – a chance for redemption. Rising to the occasion, the girls put together a clinical performance to take the win and claim the Year 7 North Harbour title! The Year 7 team now shifts their focus to the Auckland Championships as they continue their netball journey.
Our Year 8 team dominated their pool games and battled hard in a fiercely competitive and physical semi-final against Orewa Intermediate. Despite a valiant effort, they narrowly missed out on the final but bounced back to secure 3rd place with a strong win over MBIS.
