After eight weeks of hard work, creativity and dedication, our incredibly talented group of 65 students took to the stage at Show Quest, held at the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre, Aotea Centre. They delivered a spectacular eight-minute performance celebrating the Arts through dance, drama, visual art and live music.
Our performance focused on the power of storytelling and the importance of shared stories being passed through generations, particularly from our grandparents and great-grandparents. Through the Arts, students explored how these treasured memories, experiences and lessons help shape identity, connection and belonging.
Our students were amazing ambassadors for both our school and the Arts, showing courage, teamwork and commitment throughout the entire eight-week journey. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and the way they represented our kura on stage. To top off an unforgettable experience, we were thrilled to receive awards for Recognition in Dance and Visual Art, along with Excellence in Live Music.
