This term all teams have been rehearsing for a play festival at Northcross. There are eight teams at Northcross and each was given a journal play to work with. The plays are quite short , but each team managed to have fun, adding things in and developing humorous roles into the performance. The performances were held in the drama room, with a very close and intimate audience. There were four day shows for Northcross audiences and two evening shows for family and friends. Most of these actors have participated in my specialist drama classes and had shown a keenness to do something extra, and the play festival was a good format for students to learn new skills and organise themselves quickly when someone in their cast was suddenly absent through illness.
