Six NX students travelled to the Hawkes Bay to compete in the National Secondary Schools Orienteering Championship. Harry Borton came 1st in the Sprint and the Championship Long Course. Sophie Herde placed 5th in the Sprint and 3rd in the Championship Long Course. Connor Smith came 1st, Ryan 5th and Callum Hill 7th in the Standard Long Course. Keira Heaton was 5th for the girls in the Standard Long Course. Harry, Connor and Sophie joined together for the Relay and were placed 2nd. Northcross was placed 2nd overall in the Year 7/8 section. A fantastic result all round.
