Talented NX Students in cast of Kinky Boots

Asher Whitehead and Jett Iles have been chosen to join the New Zealand premiere production of Kinky Boots. Brought to you by G&T Productions and the Amici Trust. Kinky Boots is the winner of every major best musical award, including the Tony, the Grammy, and London’s Olivier Award.
It’s a dream come true for both the boys who are musical theatre obsessed. You will find the boys very active in our NX arts groups including Rock Band, Choir, Hip Hop, Kapa Haka and Toi.
The Kinky Boots show has finished this weekend in Auckland and has been running at the  The Civic 25th – 17th of June 2023. Asher is continuing with the show for their Wellington season at the St James during the Mid year holidays.

Top NX Table Tennis Player

August Xiao, from Room 42, recently compteted in the  2023 North Island Open Individual Championships in Palmerston North. August’s remarkable success across multiple categories is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and remarkable talent.

August’s exceptional accomplishments in the tournament include:

U15 Boys Singles, Winner
U13 Boys Singles, Winner
Open Mixed Doubles, Bronze

August has unwavering commitment to his sport, perseverance, and impressive skill. August’s achievements highlight his ability to excel in a highly competitive environment while maintaining a commendable level of sportsmanship.

Champion NX Gymnast

Year 7 student Rada Pazniak is an accomplished Gymnast who is in her 5th year of trampolining. Her dedication and commitment to her chosen sport is immense, having to train up to 5 times a week.

Rada competed at the recent 2023 NZ Gymnastics Championships in Tauranga where she had incredible success. After much intense competition Rada achieved these amazing results:

11-12 women’s national trampoline 1st place.

11-12 women’s national synchronised trampoline 2nd place.

Congratulations Rada on these exceptional achievements.
