This year, around 70 students submitted projects, of which 24 were chosen to represent Northcross at the North Harbour NIWA Science & Technology Fair. Sixteen of the twenty four students received awards. Northcross boasted 2 of the 4 special awards, 6 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze awards. On top of that, Northcross won seven out of the eight Top of World Category prizes. Christopher Rawles received the NIWA primer award for Top of Fair and Olivia Rose received the Massey University award for runner up at the fair. Northcross is proud of the myriad of awards that students won this year.

- Christopher Rawles – NIWA Premier Award winner, Category Winner and Gold award in Material World for his project ‘The effects of Sugar and corbonated water on Teeth’
- Olivia Rose – The Massey University Award for Second Place Overall and Category Winner in Environmental Technology for her project on ‘Stream Shower’
- Sebastian Archiszewski – The Standley Jober cup, Category Winner and Gold award in Technology Product Design
- Georgina O’Connell – The Bill Wiggle Memorial cup for Outstanding Log Book and the Miles Maxted award for Best use of Statistics
- Leo McEvoy – The NIWA award
- Zara Latimer – Category Winner and Gold award in Living World
- Ceci Ranum – Category Winner and Gold award in Software/Hardware Technology
- Bryn Austin – Category Winner and Gold Award in Physical World
- Jhett Gerrand – Gold award in Environmental Technology
- Harini Nellipudi – Special Prize and Silver award for her project ‘Hello Friend’ in Software/Hardware Technology
- Emerson D’Aguiar Sanders – Special Prize and Silver award for her project ‘Enhancing Plant DNA’ in Living World
- Soyul In – Silver award in Material World
- D’Angelo McLaren – Bronze award in Technology Product Design
- Edison Jiang – Bronze award in Physical World
