Throughout Term 2, Northcross students worked hard on exciting and innovative Science investigations, experiments, and the creation of new inventions. Over 100 projects were submitted for the Northcross Expo and of those, 16 were shortlisted to represent Northcross Intermediate at this year’s North Harbour Science and Technology Fair at the end of Term 3. 14 Science and two Technology Projects were entered into the North Harbour Fair, of which 12 Science and both Technology Projects were recognised for their efforts and findings.
Northcross Intermediate students were highly visible at the prize giving ceremony with 10 winning either top of category or special awards. With her investigation on the affects of different types of milk on coffee, Vivienne O’Connell took out the major award, an incredible achievement.
