As part of the Toi Wearable Arts competition, students had the option of entering the additional creative photo challenge. The design brief was to submit an image of their garment worthy of a magazine cover. Most of the NX designers took up this challenge and a number of our student photographers also assisted with the photoshoots, using the knowledge gained through their specialist photography lessons. This year, Northcross won the junior photo challenge. Year 8 student Zara Latimer’s image of her garment Hine-kōrako was chosen from many entries from across the country. A stunning photo and great achievement for Zara and photography at NX.
