An acknowledgment of our NX SnowSports Team (Skiers and Snow boarders) who have had a busy term. Congratulations to all team members who competed in both the Auckland Primary & Intermediate Schools Snowsports Champs and the 365 Ski competition both held at Snow Planet.
The Northcross team achieved an impressive 3rd place at the Auckland Championship competition held in August. The team that took part consisted of our skiers: Josh Sullivan, Scott Tucker, Hunter Taylor, Seigo Kono, Cooper Li, and Taylor Christie, along with snowboarders Henry Yin and Campbell Gao.
Several weeks later our SnowSports team were again on the slopes at Snow Planet this time competing in the 365 Ski Championship, winning this competition comprehensively and coming away with a well-deserved trophy. Competing in the ski races were; Josh Sullivan, Scott Tucker, Hunter Taylor, Seigo Kono, Mizuki Huang and snowboard trio Nathan Lu, Jackson Liu, and Campbell Gao.
Well done to all our young Skiers and Snow boarders for a great term and a special thanks to our wonderful parents for their support of the team.
