Year 8 student Florence Camus Rogers placed 3rd in a recent youth photography competition. She took the opportunity to put her learning into action, after gaining camera handling and composition skills through her specialist lessons in photography at school. Florence’s simple yet effective image of autumn leaves on a wooden deck shows great use of texture, patterns, and colour. For her efforts, Florence has received free tuition in a photography masterclass, as well as having a number of her photos displayed in an up-and-coming Estuary Art Centre exhibition.
