FPS Celebrations

Last year, 70 students participated in our Future Problem Solving (FPS) programme.  In 2021, the National competition went virtual (Covid!) with the students working from home in their team of four. Six Northcross teams were invited to the Nationals. The topic was “Human Environmental Impact”. We have just recently received the medals for this competition and would like to again congratulate:

Team 1: Betty Shen, Matthew Fitness, Mitchell Baird and Olivia Rose for placing first in New Zealand.

Team 2: Ethan du Toit, Saya Lang, Bianca Drever, Tayva Flower for placing second in New Zealand.

These teams will be representing New Zealand at the Internationals in the Junior division later in June with the topic of Antibiotic Resistance.

We are also thrilled to see last year’s Year 8’s: Ruihan Ong, Ruka Kambe, Connor Smith and Kevin Wang place 2nd.  They will be representing New Zealand in the Middle Division.

Stunning results from stunning students!
