Recently 23 of our extraodinary athletes, those who had qualified from NH events earlier in the term, competed at the Auckland Athletics Championships and had some great results from across the team.
The following students gained placings in the top 5:

1st 200m (26.82s). 2nd 800m (1:02min), 3rd 100m (13.42s) , 5th Long jump (4.49m)
Mylo Withers; 3rd 1500m 4:54.77
Tyler Coburn; 2nd 400m (1:04.94min), narrowly missing 1st spot
Bella Whyte; 3rd Discus 22.66m
The top throw was 47.68m, breaking the current record of 39.27m held by Kaia Tupo-South, an ex NX student
The Northcross relay teams were on fire;
Y7 Boys 1st (54.28s) – Aston Nicholls, Oisin McGinley, Ollie Chhour, & Flynn Becker-Crawford
Y7 Girls 2nd (56.77s) – Lace Patuki, Taiya van Dyk, Bella Whyte, and Ariana Coburn, supported by
Y8 Girls 4th (54.98s) – Dani Anderson, Lucia Sanna, Georgia Stanton, & Kaia Cousins
