North Harbour Athletics Zone Day
A team of 53 NX athletes took to the Millennium Stadium in early November, ready to take on the best from our neighbouring Intermediate Schools, in what would be a day of intense, nail biting competition. Our athletes once again made NX proud, not only by showing exceptional grit, perseverance and determination right throughout the day, but also by gaining outstanding results on the track and in the field. Our outstanding results were as follows:

Auckland Athletics Day
Our place getters at the North Harbour Competition went on to represent the North Harbour Region and our school at the Auckland Athletics Champions at Mt Smart at the end of November. Our Northcross athletes performed superbly against very tough competition, testing their athletic abilities with the best of the best in Auckland. We came away with some top results across the track, and field events and were so close, with only mm’s and seconds deciding podium finishes (our Y8 Boys relay team finished less than a second behind first place getters) Individuals to impress were the listed athletes below, placing in the top 3.
