At 6pm Thursday 4 June, outstanding speaker and expert in the field of keeping your child safe online, John Parsons will be presenting his message in the Northcross PAC. You may have heard him before on TVNZ Breakfast show or being interviewed by Hilary Barry. His website has many resources to support parents: https://www.citizen21.co.nz/ and his facebook page has clips and tips for educators, parents and students: https://www.facebook.com/johnparsonsS2E/
At Northcross, John Parsons will present to all students, then staff will have a comprehensive staff meeting about keeping themselves and students safe online. This will be followed by a parent evening from 6-7:30pm in the PAC. While this is a FREE event, we do request that you register to ensure we have enough seats for all.
Please note that the parent/whanau talk will not be appropriate for children to attend.
