Having won the North Harbour Tournament, our Y7 boys Softball team went on to compete in the Auckland Champs Softball day at Rosedale Park. The boys started off really well winning all three of their pool games with multiple players being able to score valuable home runs. The team then moved straight into a Semi Final game against a very strong and experienced Glen Eden squad. Our NX boys fought valiantly but unfortunately the result did not go our way and the team headed to a 3rd/4th play off against Kedgley Intermediate. Amazingly, the boys, through sheer hard work, guts and determination came out on top, scoring a home run on the final bat of the innings to secure NX a 3rd place at Auckland Champs. Well done boys, we are very proud of you!
